RLWRLD is a leading Physical AI company developing a Robotics Foundation Model (RFM) that enables robots to perceive, reason, and act in the real world like humans.

Building on deep research capabilities in AI and robotics and a strong data collaboration network with industrial partners in Japan, Korea, and beyond, RLWRLD is rapidly advancing our RFM to enable precise manipulation by high-degree-of-freedom robotic hands. The company is also collaborating with world-class research groups and partners in robotics and sensor solutions to develop AI models that can be practically deployed across industries such as manufacturing, logistics, and services.

Having raised approximately KRW 60 billion in cumulative seed funding from leading domestic and global venture capital firms and major corporations, RLWRLD continues to attract exceptional talent who are eager to drive innovation across AI, robotics technology, and business.

About the Organization

RLWRLD’s Product Organization is responsible for planning, developing, and researching all of RLWRLD’s products, leading robotics-based research and prototyping for Physical AI.

Within the Product Organization, the Hardware Team builds robot platforms, sensor integration systems, and data collection environments that allow RLWRLD researchers to experiment with new behavior learning and control models.

By combining commercial components, we design and assemble new forms of robotic hardware and produce fast, precise prototypes that play a central role in enabling real-world robotic experimentation.

Position Overview

This position is responsible for prototyping and sourcing robotic research hardware used by RLWRLD’s research team.

Using commercial components such as actuators, sensors, drivers, and electrical parts, you will design and build robot modules (arms, hands, neck, waist, etc.), integrate various sensors into teleoperation systems, and perform firmware setup, board configuration, and simple PCB design and testing to support researchers in conducting high-precision robot control experiments.

You will also research, evaluate, and source commercial robots and robot hands that meet internal requirements, contributing to a more accurate and practical implementation of Physical AI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Robotic Hardware Prototyping
  • Design and assemble robotic modules (arms, hands, neck, waist, etc.) using commercial actuators for research purposes
  • Modify and improve open-source robot platforms
  • Design, fabricate, assemble, and wire using 3D CAD tools (e.g., Solidworks, Fusion 360)
  • Sensor Integration and Teleoperation System Development
  • Integrate tactile and haptic sensors into robot systems
  • Attach and integrate position, tactile, and haptic sensors into teleoperation systems
  • Configure sensor wiring and communication, and verify system stability in experimental environments
